About Us

I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My practice focuses on a plethora of life challenges such as anxiety, depression, transitions, and grieving. I have a diverse background that entails working in public health, residential treatment centers, health care settings, community-based centers, crisis agencies, and therapeutic settings.

I strongly believe therapy is an important asset in life where one is able to talk about life challenges and work on solutions that allow individuals to be the best version of themselves. My goal is to create a natural experience by nurturing a safe and welcoming environment, establishing trusting relationships, and promoting a judgement free zone where one can express themselves freely, overcome their challenges, and find balance in their lives. I believe in the philosophy “give yourself space to evolve” (Krista Aoki). I strive to provide others the space to grow, learn, and evolve.

Why Me? I am a candid therapist that doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear but helps you help yourself. I am committed to walking alongside you to overcome life challenges. I put an emphasis on understanding your world because this is important to advance and strive towards transformation.

Feeling stuck, sad, lost, drained, confused, or repeating the same behavior patterns that get you nowhere and want things to change? Let’s be honest, sometimes life can be great and sometimes life can really suck! Dealing with day-to-day struggles or past hurts is emotionally taxing and prevents us from being the person we want to be and live the life we want to live. The good news is you don’t have to navigate life’s complexities alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings suffering from depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, adjustment and relationship issues, past trauma, etc.

My primary goal as your therapist is to be an empathic ear and sounding board while creating a safe, exploratory, and judgment free zone. In my therapeutic approach, we will work in partnership to resolve your specific concerns impacting your daily functioning and relationship with others and self. I use a client-centered approach with a blend of evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to assist in meeting your practical goals to lead to a more manageable and fulfilling life you can find enjoyment in.
